GREEN BEANS WITH ALMONDS | |
1 (16 oz.) bag frozen French cut green beans 1/2 tsp. dill weed 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 1 tbsp. butter 1/4 c. sliced, blanched almonds Place beans in a steamer; insert over boiling water. Steam until just tender, about 10 minutes or cook in a very small amount of water (1/4 cup) in large saucepan until just tender; do not overcook. Drain. Sprinkle with dill weed and garlic powder. Add butter; cover and swirl pan until butter is melted. Sprinkle with almonds. 6 servings. |
