GREEN BEANS WITH ALMONDS 
1/2 lb. bacon
1 c. slivered almonds
3/4 c. chopped onions
2 pkg. (10 oz. pkg.) green beans, French style
1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Put bacon in skillet and fry until crisp. Remove bacon from pan, break in 1/4 inch pieces. Drain on a paper towel. Pour off fat from skillet all but 1 tablespoon. Saute onion and almonds in that. Add green beans and stir fry until beans are cooked (about 5 minutes). Add cheese (Cheddar) and melt. Put in serving bowl and add Parmesan cheese.
