EASY MEXICAN CASSEROLE 
1 can tamales, drained
1 can chili without beans
1 med. onion, chopped
2 c. tortilla chips, broken
4 oz. cheddar cheese, sliced

Unwrap tamales and cut crosswise into 1/2 inch thick slices. Line a microwave safe 1 1/2 quart casserole with half the tamale slices. Spread half the chili over tamales. Top chili with half the onion, half the chips and half the cheese. Repeat layers, except the remaining cheese. Cook, covered on 100% power 10-12 minutes or until heated through. Top with remaining cheese slices. Let stand covered 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
