GOOD FOR YOU COFFEE CAKE 
1 c. flour
1 c. packed brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
2 c. flake cereal with fruits and nuts
1/2 c. milk
1 egg, slightly beaten
Dried fruit (apricot, apple, prune, etc.)

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and salt in bowl. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Add 1 1/2 cups cereal - take out 1/3 cup and set aside with remaining 1/2 cup cereal. Add milk, egg and dried fruit to flour mixture and blend thoroughly. Pour into greased and floured 8 inch square pan. Sprinkle top of cake with reserved 1/3 cup mixture mixed with 1/2 cup reserved cereal. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
