SCALLOPED OYSTERS 
1/3 c. butter
1 1/2 c. finely crushed saltines
1 pt. shucked "standard" oysters
1/2 c. half and half
3/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. chopped parsley, optional

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In 1 quart saucepan over low heat melt butter. Stir in saltines. In 10 x 6 inch baking dish arrange half of the saltine mixture; top with undrained oysters.

In a small bowl mix half and half, salt, pepper and Worcestershire and pour over oysters. Sprinkle with parsley and remaining saltine mixture.

Bake 20 to 25 minutes until lightly browned.
