SOFT-AS-A-CLOUD SOUR CREAM
BISCUITS
 
1 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sour cream
1/4 c. half & half

Combine flour, baking powder, sugar, soda and salt; stir well. Combine sour cream and half and half; add to flour mixture, stirring with a fork until dry ingredients are moistened. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface, and knead lightly 4 or 5 times.

Roll dough to 1/2 inch thickness and cut with a floured 2 inch biscuit cutter. Place biscuits on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 425 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Yield: 10 biscuits.
