RICE KRISPIE BALLS 
1 egg
1 pkg. dates, cut up (about 1 c.)
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. melted butter
1 1/2 c. Rice Krispies
1/2 c. walnuts

Break egg in pan. Add dates, sugar, and butter. Cook slowly 10 minutes until thick. Add Rice Krispies and walnuts. Cool on platter. Roll in balls and roll in coconut.

One of the best cooks I know is my friend Lee Russell who gave this recipe to me. Now that she's in Florida I don't get to taste her good cooking but I can try to come close with her recipes.
