RICE PUDDING 
1 c. boiling water, salted
1/2 c. regular rice
1 qt. Half & Half
3 eggs
1/2 stick butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 c. sugar

Place rice in salted water and bring to boil. Add butter and Half & Half, stirring. Cook until slightly thickened, about 45 minutes. Beat eggs, vanilla and 1/2 cups sugar. Add slowly to rice mixture. Cook only a few minutes. Add raisins and sprinkle top with cinnamon and remaining sugar.
