CARAMEL DATE NUT PUDDING | |
2 c. boiling water 2 c. brown sugar 1 tbsp. butter Put in a 9"x12" cake pan. Mix: 2/3 c. sugar 1 egg 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. salt 1 1/2 c. flour 1/4 c. milk Mix well and add 1 cup chopped dates and 1 cup chopped walnuts. Drop by spoonfuls into brown sugar mixture in 9"x12" cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes or golden brown. Garnish with whipped cream. |
