CHOCOLATE NUT BALLS 
1 can (13 oz.) evaporated milk
1 pkg. (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
5 c. crushed vanilla wafers (1 box)
1 c. sifted confectionery sugar
2 1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/3 c. orange juice or brandy
Shredded coconut (optional)

In heavy pan over medium heat stir undiluted milk and chocolate chips until melted and smooth. Remove from heat. Add wafers, sugar, 1 cup nuts, orange juice and mix well. Let stand at room temperature for 1/2 hour. Shape into 1 inch balls. Roll in remaining nuts or coconut. Refrigerate 1 hour or until firm. Makes about 4 dozen.
