CARAMEL FROSTING FOR CAKE 
1/2 stick butter
2 c. brown sugar
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. evaporated milk

Mix all ingredients in saucepan. For best results, use large iron skillet. Let come to rolling boil, stirring constantly. Drop a small amount in cup of cold water. Ready when forms soft ball. Take off stove and beat until cool enough to spread on cake. This is very good on yellow or chocolate cake.
