QUICK JAMBALAYA 
1 lb. Italian sweet sausage, cut into bite-size pieces
1 lb. raw shrimp, cleaned & peeled
1 med.-lg. onion, diced
1 med. green pepper, diced
3 (16 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
1 chicken bouillon cube
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. chili powder
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
2 c. instant rice

Saute sausage, onion and pepper. In a crock pot, combine and put on high until ready to serve (or put in large pot on stove, bring to boil and then simmer) : stewed tomatoes, bouillon cube and seasonings, sausage, onion and pepper.

Fifteen minutes before serving: Add shrimp until turns pink. Then add 2 cups instant rice. Stir all together and let rice absorb juices.

NOTE: Larger quantities of spices may be added if you like it hotter!
