CLAMS OREGANO 
10 average size chowder clams
1 slice bread
1 slice bacon
1 lg. green pepper
1 med. size onion
Bread crumbs
Grated cheese
Garlic salt
Soy sauce
Worcestershire sauce
Tabasco sauce
Oregano

Cut pepper into 1/2 inch strips, lengthwise. Cut onion in 1/4 inch wedges. Steam clams until opened. Save juice. Remove clams from shells. Save shells. Put the following ingredients through grinder with medium blade: 10 clam bodies, 1 strip of green pepper, 1 onion wedge, 1 slice bread, and 1 slice of bacon (wrap bread around bacon to go through grinder without clogging).

Sprinkle mixture generously with garlic salt. Add 2-3 dashes Tabasco sauce. Add 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce. Add 1 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce. Sprinkle generously with oregano. Add clam juice to thick consistency of paste. Mix thoroughly!! Place mixture in 1/2 clam shell. Cover with thin layer of bread crumbs. Sprinkle evenly with grated cheese. When fresh: Broil about 6 inches from heat until browned on pie plate or cookie sheet. When frozen: Bake at about 450 degrees until brown.
