HOMEMADE SPAGHETTI SAUCE | |
1 lb. lean ground beef 1 medium onion, chopped 6 small cans tomato sauce 1 (13 oz.) can diced tomatoes 1 medium green bell pepper, chopped 1 can mushrooms or 6 large sliced mushrooms 1 tsp. garlic powder 1 tsp. oregano 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tsp. Italian seasoning Brown and drain meat and onions. Add tomato sauce and diced vegetables. Add spices. Stir gently and simmer for at least 20 minutes. Sauce will thicken. Add water, if needed. Serve with any type of spaghetti or firm pasta and garlic cheese bread. |
