VEGETABLE-SOUP 
3 carrots
3 potatoes
3 parsnips
3 turnips
4 pieces of celery
2 onions
1/2 head of cabbage
Salt and pepper
1 lg. can of tomatoes
1 c. frozen peas
1 c. frozen corn
1/2 c. lima beans
1 c. cut string beans
1 lb. ground beef

Dice the carrots, potatoes, parsnips and turnips, cut the celery small slices, dice the onions, and shred the cabbage, after it comes to a boil, add the peas, corn and beans. Then add the tomatoes, and the ground beef.

Season to the taste with salt and pepper. Then I add celery salt and garlic powder or salt according to what you desire for seasoning.
