WEDDING CAKE OR CAKE SQUARES 
1/2 c. Crisco
2 3/4 c. plain flour (cake flour)
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. milk
5/8 c. egg whites, unbeaten (6 eggs)
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 tsp. lemon flavoring
1 tsp. butter flavoring

Mix dry ingredients. Add sugar, Crisco, and 2/3 of the milk. Beat 1-2 minutes. Add egg whites and rest of milk. Beat 2-3 minutes. Grease and flour two 9 x 13 inch cake pans. Bake at 350 degrees until done.
