RICE CAKE | |
5 c. cold water 1 tbsp. salt 1 lb. Carolina rice 1/2 lb. butter 1/2 lb. cream cheese 3/4 c. sugar 4 eggs 1 c. cold milk 1 c. self-rising flour 1 tsp. vanilla extract Boil rice until water is absorbed. Take off stove and let set for 5 minutes. Now add the ingredients one at a time and mix well after each addition, butter, cream cheese, sugar, eggs, milk, flour, vanilla extract. Remember to mix well after each ingredient. Grease and flour bundt pan. Pour batter into pan and bake at 400 degree oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until top of cake is slightly brown. When cake is done take out of oven, let cool and then invert onto dish. |
