FRUIT DESSERT 
3 c. pineapple chunks
5 med. oranges or 2 c. orange sections
2 fully ripe bananas
2 c. white seedless grapes
1 1/3 c. flaked coconut
Whole maraschino cherries

Drain pineapple reserving syrup. Pare oranges with sharp knife; remove sections, reserve juice. Slice bananas and place in orange juice. Layer fruit, beginning with oranges, pineapple, bananas and grapes. Sprinkle with coconut. Pour reserved pineapple juice over all, chill thoroughly. At serving time, pour ginger ale on fruit, sprinkle with more coconut and dot with cherries.
