2 (16 oz.) cans sliced beets, drained
2 onions, sliced
1 env. Italian salad dressing mix

Place beets and onions in bowl. Prepare the salad dressing mix with vinegar, water and oil as directed on the package. Pour over beets and onions. Allow to marinate in refrigerator for at least 3 hours.
