PICKLED BEETS 
1/4 c. water
1/3 c. vinegar
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon (can use sticks)
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cloves
2 c. sliced, cooked beets

Combine all ingredients except beets. Heat syrup to boiling; add beets. Cover and simmer 5 minutes. Chill.
