MANDARIN CHINESE CHICKEN SALAD 
1 lb. chicken breasts, cooked and cubed
1 small head iceberg lettuce
1 small can mandarin oranges, drained
3 green onions
1 small can Chinese noodles
1 small pkg. slivered almonds
1/4 c. poppy seeds
1 can of water chestnuts, drained
Chinese pea pods, to taste
cilantro, to taste

Combine chicken, lettuce, onions, pea pods, oranges and chestnuts. Combine noodles, almonds, and poppy seeds. Add dressing and cilantro and toss. Serve with Hawaiian sweet bread.

Dressing:

4 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
4 tsp. vinegar
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. oil (you can use part sesame oil)

Shake all ingredients together well.
