HOT BUTTERED RUM BATTER 
1 lb. dark brown sugar
1 stick butter, softened
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ground cloves

Mix all ingredients together, forming a batter. Put 1 tablespoon of batter in a large mug. Add 1 1/4 once dark rum. Fill mug with steaming water and stir with cinnamon stick.
