HOT BUTTERED RUM BATTER 
1 qt. vanilla ice cream
1 lb. brown sugar
1 lb. powdered sugar
1 lb. butter
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp.nutmeg

Soften ice cream slightly. Using mixer, blend all ingredients together until smooth. Store covered in refrigerator.

To serve: Mix 1 tablespoon batter, 1 jigger rum in mug. Fill with hot water, stir and serve. Batter and rum may be adjusted to suit taste. Also good without rum.
