BACHELOR BUTTONS 
1 c. butter
1 c. (packed) light brown sugar
1 egg
1/8 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. flaked coconut

Cream the butter in a bowl. Add the sugar gradually and beat until light. Add vanilla and mix. Add the flour alternately with water and stir in the pecans. Shape into balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. Sprinkle with additional powdered sugar.
