HONEY OATMEAL BREAD | |
6 c. flour 2 tbsp. oil 1 c. oatmeal 2 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. honey 2 c. boiling water 2 pkgs. dry yeast Put oatmeal in bowl; add boiling water over top; let stand to lukewarm, about 1/2 hour. Mix yeast with 1/2 cup lukewarm water; let it dissolve. Add honey, oil and yeast to oatmeal and stir. Add flour, salt and knead well. Let rise to double in size. Put in two bread pans. Bake about 45 minutes at 350 degrees. |
