SAUTEED TOMATOES 
6 lg. firm tomatoes
1/3 c. sour cream
1/3 c. milk
1 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
2 tbsp. oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Grated cheese, optional

Cut tomatoes in thick slices. Combine sour cream and milk. Blend well. Dip tomatoes in milk mixture, then in bread crumbs. Saute tomatoes in hot oil over medium heat until golden brown. Season with salt and pepper. Top with additional sour cream and grated cheese. 6 servings.
