SWEET AND SOUR BEEF STEW 
1 1/2 lb. beef stew meat, cut into 1 inch cubes
2 tbsp. cooking oil
2 med. carrots, sliced
2 med. onions, sliced
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. salt

Brown meat in medium soup pot and add the above ingredients. Cover and cook over low heat until meat is tender. Blend 1 tablespoon cold water and 2 teaspoons cornstarch. Add to stew to thicken. Serve over noodles.
