FUDGE CARAMELS 
3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. light corn syrup
3 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. peanut butter

Combine sugar, salt, cocoa, milk and corn syrup. Cook stirring occasionally until a little in cold water forms a soft ball. Remove from heat. Add butter and peanut butter and let cool until lukewarm. Add vanilla and beat with spoon until no longer glossy. Add nuts if you like. Pour into prepared pan (buttered) and cool. With buttered knife, cut into squares.
