COLONIAL FRIED CHICKEN | |
3 lbs. fryer chicken parts 1 c. Italian salad dressing 3 tbsp. flour 1 tsp. paprika 1/4 tsp. thyme 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 3 tbsp. oil Wash chicken well in cold water and pat dry. Pour salad dressing over chicken in shallow dish, coating each piece. Then mix flour, paprika, thyme, salt and pepper together. Dip chicken in flour mixture. Heat oil and lightly brown in a frying pan on each side. Place chicken in a shallow dish and cover with foil. Bake for an hour at 350 degrees; remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes at 400 degrees. |
