GOLDEN CRUMB TOPPING 
Use to top pastries, pies, etc.

2 cups sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Mix sugar and flour together. Add salt and vanilla. Cut in butter. Do not over mix, just till it crumbs.
