GUACAMOLE DIP | |
1 tomato, peeled and chopped 1 avocado, ripe 1 sm. onion, chopped 2 or 3 jalapeno (hot) peppers 2 or 3 sprigs coriander, fresh Salt to taste Garlic powder (optional) Lime juice (optional) Mash the tomato. Peel and remove seed from avocado. Mix together and add onion and hot peppers. Chop the herb, add spices and blend well. Pile mixture into a serving dish with avocado seed in the center. This is supposed to keep guacamole from turning dark. If not serving immediately, add several drops of lime juice and put into refrigerator covered with plastic wrap. Serve with tortilla chips. |
