1 stick butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Melt butter in saucepan. Add all other ingredients. Grease 9x13 inch pan and bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees. The recipe can be doubled and a larger pan used.
