"NO NAME" CAKE 
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding
1 c. sour cream
1 scant c. salad oil (I use 7/8)
4 eggs
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. nuts, chopped

Combine first 5 ingredients and beat with electric beater for 10 minutes. Pour half the batter into a greased 10 inch tube pan. Sprinkle with half the chocolate chips and nuts. Repeat procedure. Bake about 1 hour in a 325 degree oven. Cool in pan (do not invert) for about 1 hour before turning out. Can be wrapped and stored in refrigerator and also freezes well.

VARIATION:

1/2 c. oil
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. sherry wine

Instead of 1 cup of oil. Do not use nuts or chocolate chips. Only need to beat this about 3 minutes.
