CRUMB CRUST 
1 1/4 c. fine crumbs
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. softened butter
Graham crackers, Zwiebach

Chocolate wafers, or gingersnaps or use vanilla wafers or shortbread and reduce sugar to 4 teaspoons.

Combine ingredients and mix well. Press firmly over bottom and sides of a 9 inch pie pan or bottom of 8 inch square pan. Chill for 1 hour or bake in moderate oven (375 degrees) 8 minutes and cool before filling. Fill with ice cream, chiffon or cream fillings.

For 8 inch crumb crust: Reduce crumbs to 1 cup and sugar to 3 tablespoons. Press into 8 inch pie pan.

For 10 inch crumb crust: Increase crumbs to 1 1/2 cups and sguar to 1/3 cup. Press into a 9 or 10 inch pie pan.
