HAMBURGER CHOW MEIN 
1/4 c. butter
1 lb. hamburger
1 med. onion, chopped

Fry above until brown.

Add:

1 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
2 c. diced celery
1 1/2 c. water

Cover and simmer 20 minutes.

Stir into meat mixture until thick:

2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. sugar
1 tbsp. brown gravy
2 (16 oz.) cans bean sprouts
Some chow mein vegetables, drained
2 tbsp. cornstarch in 2 tbsp. water
1 sm. can mushrooms, drained

Serve.
