ENGLISH TRIFLE 
6 lady fingers
1/4 c. sherry
1 big box of Jello
Custard
1 pt. whipped whipping cream
Chopped walnuts
1/4 c. jam

Slice open lady fingers and spread jam over. Put in dessert bowl and pour sherry over lady fingers. Make Jello according to box. Pour over lady fingers. Set in refrigerator. Layer custard over Jello, then the whipped cream. Sprinkle with nuts. Chill and serve.
