ALMOND COOKIES 
1 1/2 sticks butter
1 1/4 c. powdered sugar
2 1/2 c. flour
3 tsp. almond extract
4 tbsp. water
1 c. chopped pecans
1 pinch salt

Mix all ingredients with electric mixer. Roll in log shape. Cover with Saran Wrap and refrigerate 1 hour. Slice in 1/4-inch slices and bake in 300 degree oven for 15 minutes. While still warm, roll in additional powdered sugar. Makes 3 dozen.
