TOASTED PECANS 
Pecan halves
butter
Seasoned salt

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Spread nuts in a shallow pan and dot all over with butter. Put in oven. Keep stirring after butter begins to melt and sprinkle with seasoned salt. When nuts begin to brown, turn the heat back to 300 degrees or lower. You may even turn heat off and let them finish toasting.

The "secret" is slow toasting and close watching!
