CHEESY POTATO SOUP | |
8 to 10 potatoes 1 medium onion 1 grated carrot 1 tsp. salt 2 c. milk 1 small jar Cheese Whiz 1 tsp. seasoning salt 1 tbsp. parsley flakes 1/2 c. crisp, crumbled bacon (optional) Peel potatoes; chunk into pieces. Add chopped onion. Cover potatoes completely with water; add salt and cook until tender. Use potato masher and mash potatoes until in small pieces. Do not drain off liquid. Add milk, Cheez Whiz, seasoning salt and parsley flakes. Add bacon. Heat soup until cheese is melted. Serves 6 to 8. |
