SOUR CREAM FROSTING 
1/2 c. sour cream
1 egg
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. pecans or walnuts, chopped

Stir all together and boil until thick enough to spread. This will frost a 2 layer cake. If for 3 layer cake, double recipe. One half cup raisins may be added, if you wish.

Makes 1 1/2 cups.

I didn't have any butter so I decided to try this recipe with my banana bread and let me tell you it was delicious!! Thanks so much!! Also I added pecans instead of walnuts! What a yummy frosting!!
