UPSIDE DOWN PIE | |
3 tbsp. butter 1/4 c. sugar 1 c. flour Pinch salt 1 tsp. baking powder 3/4 c. milk 1 lg. can fruit (any kind) 1 c. sugar Mix together thoroughly butter, 1/2 cup sugar, flour, salt and baking powder, add enough milk to make a batter. Beat one minute, pour into a buttered casserole. Make topping by using canned fruits, fresh or frozen juice. Mix with sugar and bring to boiling point. Pour over batter and bake in a 400 degree oven for 30 minutes. Serve hot or cold. |
