1 c. flour
1/2 c. salt
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tbsp. salad oil
1 c. water
Food coloring (few drops - any color)

Mix and heat all ingredients (except food coloring) over medium heat. Cook for a few minutes, stirring constantly. When ball forms, remove from pan and let cool. Divide and add food coloring. Keep airtight at room temperature.
