JOE'S BREAD PUDDING
2 loaves fresh bread
2 eggs
1/2 c. cream
2 tsp. lemon extract
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. raisins, black or white seedless
1 c. chopped, peeled apples
1/2 c. sugar (brown or white)
1/2 c. syrup
1/2 c. white milk
1/2 block melted butter (do not burn butter)

Tear bread into small pieces in a large mixing bowl. In a separate bowl mix eggs, cream, lemon extract, milk, sugar and syrup together. Add more milk if mixture is too thick.

Pour mixture over crushed bread and stir well. Add raisins and apples; stir well. Taste for preference. Add more sugar or other ingredients to suit your taste. Pour entire batter into baking pan or deep dish.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until golden brown. Check by sticking a knife into the middle of the pudding. If ingredients do not stick to the knife, the bread pudding is ready to be cooled and enjoyed. Makes 7 to 10 servings.
