3 c. sugar
3 c. butter
3 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. vanilla
9 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda

Cream butter and sugar, add eggs, buttermilk and vanilla; mix. Add 1/2 of flour, then add salt, soda, baking powder, mix well. This can be mixed with mixer this far. Mix rest by hand. Roll into small ball and pat out. Bake at 350 degrees on ungreased cookie sheet.
