TAILGATE CHILI 
2 med. onions
1 green pepper
2 lbs. fresh pork sausage
2 cans kidney beans, drained
1 (12 oz.) can corn, drained
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 c. water
2 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt

Process onions and pepper medium fine. Brown sausage breaking into small pieces. Remove sausage with slotted spoon. Pour off drippings, reserving 3 teaspoons in skillet. Add chopped vegetables to pan and saute 5 minutes at medium heat. Add sausage and all ingredients. Simmer, covered, 30 minutes Stir occasionally. Serve in pita bread pockets.
