CRUNCHY CHOCOLATE COOKIES 
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 c. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. coconut (optional)
1 c. cooking oil
1 egg
2 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 c. flour
1 c. Rice Krispies
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Cream sugar and butter. Add egg and blend well. Add vanilla. Sift flour; add salt and cream of tartar. Add the chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 13 or 15 minutes.
