APPLE WALNUT COBBLER 
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. coarsely chopped nuts
4 c. thinly sliced apples
1 egg, well beaten
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1/3 c. melted butter
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix first 3 ingredients. Place apples in bottom of greased cake dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon mixture. Combine next 3 ingredients, add dry ingredients all at once. Mix until smooth. Add vanilla. Pour over apples in dish. Sprinkle with nuts. Bake at 325 degrees for about 50 minutes.
