BROWN SUGAR BANANA BREAD 
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. mashed bananas (3 to 4)
2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. finely chopped nuts

Cream together sugar and butter. Add eggs one at a time, beating well. Stir in bananas. Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Stir into creamed mixture. Mix in nuts. Spoon into greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan.

Bake in 350°F oven for 1 hour or until bread tests done. (A toothpick inserted in center will come out clean.) Cool on rack.

Makes one loaf.
