OATMEAL BREAD 
1/2 c. warm water
2 pkg. yeast
1 3/4 c. warm milk
1/4 c. brown sugar, packed 1 tbsp. salt
3 tbsp. butter
5 or 6 c. flour
1 c. rolled oats

Measure warm water into large warm bowl. Sprinkle in yeast and stir. Add warm milk, sugar, salt and butter. Add 2 cups flour. Beat with mixer for 1 minute. Add 1 cup flour and oats. Beat with wooden spoon. Add enough flour to make soft dough. Knead for 8 to 10 minutes. Cover with plastic and towel. let rest for 20 minutes. Divide dough in half and form into 2 loaves. Place in greased loaf pans. Cover with plastic wrap loosely. Refrigerate for 2 to 24 hours. When ready to bake, remove from refrigerator and let stand uncovered for 10 minutes. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.
