BREAD PUDDING | |
3 Portuguese rolls 150 gr. fruit preserve (any kind - apple, peach, etc.) 200 gr. sugar 5 eggs 1/2 lit. olive oil Slice the bread and spread over butter and sugar. Arrange the bread in layers into a deep Pyrex. In a bowl beat together the eggs and sugar. Add the milk and beat a little longer. Pour over the bread making sure that all the bread is well soaked. Bake it for 40 to 45 minutes at 325 degrees. Let it cool and garnish it with jelly. |
